January 2, 2024

Every January 1st, I take time to sit down with my vision board, intentions, and goals for the year ahead. It’s my way of intentionally setting the tone for the next 365 days. I’m a firm believer in manifestation — not in a “wish it and forget it” way, but in a “put it out there and work for it” kind of way.
For 2024, my word of the year is:
And I’m leaning into it in every area of my life and business.
As a Paducah-based branding and website designer, one of my biggest professional goals this year is building deeper connections within my local creative and small business community.
Here’s what that looks like in real life:
These goals are about more than work… they’re about connection — to my craft, to my clients, and to the creative community around me.
Outside of work, I want to focus on truly connecting with the people and things that matter most.
Did I only read 27 books in 2023? Yes.
Am I aiming for 40 books in 2024? Also yes.
Reading helps me slow down, feel grounded, and step away from constant screens. My goal this year is to scroll less and read more, and focus on having a better reading-to-Instagram ratio overall.
Also on the list:
This year is about connection:
To people.
To creativity.
To health.
To purpose.
🥂 Here’s to a new year, new energy, and new adventures.
